plan.marketplace_managed

Saving a plan, or moving it to another edition, would change the billing model, the trial or what the plan includes (fields lists which) while the plan is mapped to a Microsoft Marketplace plan: the Marketplace's terms apply and cannot be overridden; sourceName, offerId and planId name that Marketplace plan. Its names stay editable.

What the portals show

The portals translate the code, never the title. The English (en-GB) message, in ICU format with the arguments as placeholders:

{plan} is mapped to {offerId} / {planId} in Microsoft Marketplace, so its billing model, free trial and what it includes are set in Partner Center and its edition. You can still rename it.

Handling it

Branch on code, not on title or the status alone, and log traceId. Codes are stable; new codes may appear, so fall back on the HTTP status for a code you do not know. See Handling errors and the list of codes.
